National Energy Efficiency Awards 2026

Nominations for this award are open to any commercial or domestic project that meets the following criteria: The project must have been completed between January 2024 and March 2025. Where the project is a phase of a longer term project only the phase of work completed during the period can be considered eligible. It must involve types of energy efficiency measures recognised as providing renewable heat. That would include, for example, Heat Pumps, Solar Water Heating and biomass systems. All contractors working on the project must be fully qualified. A clear nomination statement is required, outlining what sets them apart in their field and demonstrating actual energy savings achieved. Customer testimonials and community impact statements are essential. Judges will consider the nature, scale and scope of the work carried out, and a special emphasis will be placed on any successful integration of any national or local government energy efficiency schemes into the nominated project. The judges will also look at: - the impact the project has had within the community; - what the customers and local community have to say about the project; and - what level of expertise the project management and delivery team has in delivering this type of project.
